MSC Cruises is launching MSC World America in April 2025. This LNG-powered ship, designed specifically for the North American market, will homeport in Miami, Florida. It boasts features like the "Cliffhanger" over-water swing ride and diverse dining options, including the only Eataly restaurant at sea. 

2. Star of the Seas
Royal Caribbean's Star of the Seas, the second in their Icon-class series, is scheduled to debut in August 2025. This vessel will become the world's largest cruise ship, offering amenities such as zip lines and water slides. It will sail from Port Canaveral, Florida, primarily focusing on Caribbean itineraries. 

3. Norwegian Aqua
Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Aqua is set to begin voyages in April 2025 from Port Canaveral, Florida. As part of the Prima Plus class, it will feature a unique roller-coaster-waterslide encircling its funnel, providing guests with thrilling onboard entertainment. 

4. Brilliant Lady
Virgin Voyages' fourth ship, Brilliant Lady, will make its debut in September 2025. Initially sailing from New York, it will later transition to the Caribbean, offering longer voyages than its sister ships. In 2026, the Brilliant Lady will bring the first Virgin Voyages sailings from the west coast as she summers in Alaska. The vessel will maintain Virgin Voyages' signature adult-only experience, complete with included specialty dining, tips, and Wi-Fi. 

5. Disney Destiny
Disney Cruise Line is expanding its fleet with Disney Destiny, scheduled to set sail in November 2025. This Wish-class ship will homeport at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, featuring themed experiences inspired by Marvel and other Disney franchises. 

6. Celebrity Xcel
Celebrity Cruises plans to introduce Celebrity Xcel in November 2025. As the final ship in the Edge-class series, it will offer luxurious amenities and is expected to sail from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, focusing on Caribbean destinations. 

7. Star Princess
Princess Cruises' Star Princess is slated to launch in October 2025. This Sphere-class ship will begin its inaugural season in the Mediterranean, offering a range of European itineraries before transitioning to the Caribbean and Alaska in 2026.

My family and I recently took our first cruise with Princess Cruises since they introduced the new Medallion Class feature, and we were blown away! The medallion itself is about the size of a quarter and is complimentary for all guests. If you've purchased the Princess Plus or Premier packages, Princess will mail the medallion to you about two weeks prior to your cruise. If you did not purchase the Plus or Premier packages, you can pick up your medallion at the port. The medallion comes with a small lanyard, or you can purchase a variety of accessories to hold the medallion such as wrist bands, necklaces, etc. online or in the shops on the ship.

This is was by far our favorite feature onboard. It's like free DoorDash anywhere on the ship. We missed this feature after our cruise more than any other! And, with Princess Plus or Premier packages, the MedallionNet wi-fi is complimentary and unlimited. With MedallionNet, you won’t have to miss a beat—it's fast, reliable, and easy to use.
