Cancellation Penalties
Deposits are nonrefundable. Name changes and room downgrades are considered cancellations and are subject to cancellation penalties.
After the final payment deadline on March 5th, Carnival’s cancellation and change penalties increase as the cruise date approaches—up to and including a fully nonrefundable cruise fare.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is highly recommended. An optional travel insurance quote will be emailed to you after your reservation is submitted. You’ll have the opportunity to review the coverage and decide whether to purchase the policy.
By submitting your reservation form, you confirm that you understand the cancellation policy and acknowledge that you were offered the option to purchase travel insurance.
Deposits are nonrefundable. Name changes and room downgrades are considered cancellations and are subject to cancellation penalties.

Located forward on Deck 8, the ocean-air deck offers stunning views of the ocean and is for the exclusive use of guests occupying the Havana accommodations as well as guests occupying Carnival Excel Presidential Suites. Note: If booking specialty dining pre-cruise, guest will have to pay for kids upfront since our online system does not currently recognize the type of stateroom booked; once on board, guest can get the charge adjusted/refunded.

1. Do I need a passport?
All U.S. citizens will need either a valid passport or a birth certificate plus a government-issued photo ID (such as a driver's license). Children under 16 years old may travel with either a passport or a birth certificate—no photo ID is required.
If you are using a birth certificate and photo ID, and the name on your ID has changed due to marriage, divorce, or other legal reasons, you must bring a copy of the supporting document (e.g., marriage license) to verify the name change.

Onboard service gratuities are $16 per person, per day ($18 for suites). These can be paid with final payment, or they will be charged onboard at the end of your cruise. Service gratuities are divided among your room steward and your waitstaff at the various dining locations onboard.

Beverages such as water, tea, coffee, juice, fruit punch, lemonade etc. are included. Sodas and alcoholic beverages are additional. You can purchase soda and alcoholic beverages by the glass, or purchase an unlimited beverage package. Overall, Carnival is a very casual cruise line. There are no strict dress codes in most areas of the ship. There will be one "cruise elegant" evening where you are encouraged to wear business casual to formal attire to dinner should you chose to dine in the main restaurant.
5. What will the bed arrangement be in my room?
All double rooms will have two twin beds that can convert to a king to accommodate couples. Triple bunk rooms will have a king bed and a sofa bed. Quad bunk rooms will have a king bed, a sofa bed, and a pull-down bed.
6. How do I make payments on my cruise once I'm booked?
Once you've booked your cruise, you will receive a confirmation invoice and a link view your confirmation. From there, you'll be able to access your booking anytime to check your remaining balance and make payments. You will receive an updated invoice each time you make a payment towards your cruise.
